@WrestleOps It would be great if people stopped looking at this as two separate shows. It's one PPV over two nights. The show overall started poorly and ended with a good match (not great, or classic). WrestleMania should be one night of action once again. I would rank it 6.5/10

@ChandranTheMan Live experience is a lot different than home viewing. You need time to stretch and go to the bathroom. The issue is the constant commercials on a PPV. AEW got it right with Dynasty last week. Each match had a promo or video package. Gave a bit of a breather between matches.

I was at WrestleMania live and had a great time watching the show. Then I check Twitter and see people timing matches and breaking down “in-ring minutes” like it’s a lab experiment. Meanwhile, the Super Bowl only has about 11 to 18 minutes of actual gameplay in a 3+ hour broadcast (that’s a true stat BTW, look it up), and you don’t see diehard NFL fans obsessing over that. The way some wrestling fans consume the product is insane.

@WrestlingHumble It could’ve been 12-15 mins tops and get the same result and effect. Especially on a card where there’s 8-9 matches.

One big complaint with All Elite Wrestling PPVs. Not every match needs to be a 20 minute epic. No way Jericho vs Ricochet went as long as they did. Not when you have just one women’s match on your main card and you have the tagline “where the best wrestle.”
