I like how Google AI characterizes Anita Hill's testimony as "courageous". I think it's pretty well understood that it was a last ditch effort to torpedo Clarence Thomas' confirmation a la Christine Blasey Ford

There is something to be said for the fact that "wokeism" or it's synonym, the progressive left, stands athwart pretty much 100% of everything biblical. If the Bible is for it they're against it, and vice versa
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh

🚨 NICK SHIRLEY JUST NAILED IT: “The idea of wokeness is essentially the idea to remove God from EVERYTHING!” x.com/JasonJournoDC/… “The idea that a man can be woman means that God made a mistake.” “But God is the truth. Wokeness really is the idea of just removing God and filling it with something else.” 💯

I've never met a Christian who is fully comfortable in their faith care at all what Jesus may or may not have looked like.

Back during season 1 of The Walking Dead I was a fan of Daryl Dixon. Thought he was a really cool character. Started finding my way back to church years later and signed up to donate, only to find out a few weeks in that my pfp on the dono page was a crossbow-wielding Daryl Dixon

Or medication. You should never, ever need the joy of the Lord + pills to be a fulfilled Christian. The Lord should always be enough.

When you look at the contrast between Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy man, and the rich man in Matthew 19:16, what strikes me is a man feeling like he isn't doing enough in contrast with a man who seems to be living in his means just fine. Self-doubt appears to be a theme
