Asake is what you call a once in a life time kind of artist. M$NEY was already arguably the best album of the year. Do you know what this man did? He decided to give another experience of the album. Crisp production, live instrumentation brings the songs, and those backup babes? They deserve kisses, like slow long French kisses. He reinvented an already great album, how can money get this better? Only Asake and his team can do this, I almost was elevated listening to kings intro, Psycho, Ako, Ego and Bad boy new songs that still remained absolutely on theme even as additions. Asake resurrected the feelings in WHY LOVE. Why love? Why love? Why love? A question and an answer. The band was exceptional. And did you realize that he removed the Original South African intro? He did that for us, for me and you. He’s saying “I’m with you Omo iya” Asake’s superpower is live music, and the crowd is such a cute crowd. I love love Bad boy.
