On the same subject seen Ride and The Smashing Pumpkins within a month of eachother at Newcastle Mayfair and (The)Verve were supporting both times.

@Tim_Burgess I was a big fan of The Verve (back when they were called just Verve) as we were all from Wigan. Went to watch them at The Mill in Preston in, I think, 1993. Support band was called Oasis. I believe they went on to do quite well.

Getting stick for this but how can it not mean Howe's time here is done? Lose 7-2, embarrassing ourselves to the world, then allow a our biggest, newly promoted rivals to do the double over us and some people would still not want him sacked? Mental to me 😂

Also it’s only his second European campaign as manager and he’s adapted massively well from his first time two years ago where he was quite naive at times… I find it mental how people in this fanbase still doubt him… we are still struggling with juggling the league,cups and Europe but I wouldn’t bet against him finding the right formula eventually the more exposure he has to it #nufc

Eddie Howe took over Bournemouth when they were in the 4th tier of English football and in 23rd place... he got them to the Premier League. Tonight, he'll manage Newcastle at the Camp Nou against Barcelona. From the lower leagues to the Champions League. Brilliant.🏴👏

@DavyBaty81 @Pooliemags1Ttv Ramsdale has been very poor as well, let’s not forget that. Pretty much any shot on target has gone in when he’s been in goal. Pope made a massive error against Everton and was rightly dropped but both keepers aren’t good enough.
