Kamikaze Girls (2004): 8.6/10 This is one of the craziest things i've seen stylistically. The colors are so bright and the editing is frantic. I almost didn't watch it because the opening is wild. I'm glad I did though, what a sweet story about finding yourself through friends.

The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026): 5.3/10
It's basically just a really long Mandalorian episode. Do not expect anything emotional or weighty and character arcs are barely present. Still, the action setpieces in this are so fun I was tricked into having fun.

This film definitely surprised me. The concept of having the protagonist and antagonist (in a way) swap roles about halfway through the film to highlight corruption is really cool. Sam Raimi maintains his style too, with some crazy shocking violence.

I would honestly argue that Mando and Grogu's relationship development in the film is fine and mirrors Rotta to a point. I wish they had some form of conflict so the resolution mattered but whatever.
Rotta is a joke and anyone who liked his writing probably hates subtext.

Don't make me hate M&G more than I should
Rogue One has some of the best writing in the entire series, perfectly subtle and powerful with strong established themes and arcs.
M&G has a line where Rotta looks at the camera and explains his motivations because they got lazy.

Trying not to get spoiled the day after an episode came put was awful because I'd see a silly gif and know exactly what happened in the latest episode

The Boys (season 5): 6.6/10 On the whole I really like this show and the finale was shockinly good. Still, i've been here from almost the beginning and the quality drop was noticable. A little too much of a focus on the shocking gore late into the show hurts it a lot.
