I know Simon, I used to live not far away and had plenty of connections over the years there. Personally, I don't know what the answer is bar laying a 3G pitch, as I stated in a previous tweet the frustration all round is going to be high but none more so in that dressing room.

@trevk37 @Jfordy7 A bit of a different situation at Rusthall- we've played fewer games due to cup runs, as well as a couple of postponements. 4 months without a home league fixture at Wells and it happens every season.

Despite having a level four referee inspect our pitch this morning and deem our pitch fit for play. The match official has decided against the earlier decision and has subsequently called our game off. Apologies to anyone inconvenienced by today’s conflicting opinions and late postponement. #RusthallFC 🟢⚪️

@shenarc86 @mrhiggins180 Do many match reports have such a rider? It would be a shame if people choosing to write reports on non-league games felt constrained in such a way. You seem to have taken issue with this and that's your right- do come along to a Rusthall game and you'll see we're not too bad.

@shenarc86 @mrhiggins180 I actually very much admire and appreciate the work you do. I'm surprised you took issue with the content- if you'd been there, you'd have seen the way the Wells players went for Yassin. I have no proof they were told to do it but it's a match report, not a police statement.

@shenarc86 @mrhiggins180 The content of the report and the incident you refer to are not linked in any way so there's no value to labouring that point. If people get uncomfortable with a bit of gentle banter in a match report, I'd suggest that's their issue- no one is forcing anyone to read anything.

@mrhiggins180 That was my immediate reaction to reading the report. I assumed (wrongly) that it was an issue between both sets of supporters. However, whilst the club seems to have reacted positively to the actual incident, I don't feel that the report should have remained up in that format.
