With veteran DT Vita Vea requesting a trade from the Buccaneers this week: The Giants were listed by the @nflnetwork as 1 of 8 potential trade destinations if Tampa Bay decided to move him. With two years left on his current deal, Vea is looking for a new deal that hasn’t happened yet and it’s why Vea is demanding to be dealt heading into training camp. The Giants entire DL and especially the DT room saw a major facelift, as they added veterans DJ Reader and Shelby Harris in free agency, but also traded Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals the week of the 2026 NFL Draft. They suggested a Vea for Kayvon Thibodeaux swap, but would that be enough for Tama Bay to consider it? And would the Giants want to deal the younger Thibodeaux (only 25)for a 31-year-old DT coming off a down season? Some think Vea’s preference is to play out west and teams like the Raiders, Rams and 49ers being seen as the possible favorites if Vea does get dealt. Giants fans, would you want them to pursue Vea? If yes, what’s a fair trade offer? Would you trade Thibodeaux? Or something else? Or is Vea too old of a player for the Giants to pursue?
