@BeijingDai @ShandanaGulzar This is partially true. While the US will use thr Pakistani side of Baluchistan in case of ground invasion, but their best bet is the Kurds as collaborators and allies.

Rather than occupying small islands in the Persian Gulf, I think there's another possible U.S. military strategy: landing in Iran's Baloch-populated areas and arming the Baloch people to fight Iran as proxy forces. Iran has about two million Baloch, but across the border in Pakistan, there are eight million Baloch—that would be a massive reservoir of manpower.
