Trump has it backwards. Europe and the rest of the world finance the U.S., not the other way around. The dollar’s reserve status lets America run nearly $40 trillion in debt like a credit card on steroids. Trump plays tough, throwing tariffs around like confetti. But if he pulls the nuclear option and attacks Greenland, it is game over. The dollar collapses, trust evaporates, and U.S. power goes with it. Europe may look polite, but it knows how to defend territory. Do not confuse restraint with weakness.
