Jazz point I haven’t seen discussed. UTA trading pick 21 (Will Riley) and two second round picks to WAS for Walt Clayton (18th overall), is not looking hot thus far. Nolan Traore went 19 & Kas Jakucionis went 20. Unless Walt was a driving force in the Trip trade, of course.

@Callystarr I’m not deflecting anything, but there’s also players who have said on record they’ve had out-of-pocket things said to them in almost every city. The Jazz orginazation and a lot of Jazz fans have made it a priority to actively change that reputation and admonish hateful behavior

That “it happens everywhere” line is just deflection. We all know racism isn’t unique to one place. But when players keep speaking on the same issue tied to the same place, brushing it off instead of acknowledging it just makes it look worse. You don’t fix a reputation by pretending it’s no different than everywhere else.

@Callystarr I just don’t think Brice is built to be a off the bench guy unless it’s like a sixth man and he gets heavy minutes and he isn’t good enough to be a high usage rate starter on a team that’s trying to win games. It seems like he has always been hit or miss as a bench guy
