@SMITEGame Nothing good ever happened in Smite 1 when anyone/anything has mechanics that give increases EXP gains. 5% on a 180 second cooldown doesn't sound too problematic though.

Smite has the potential to overtake league with its ease of play and less learning curve or toxic fan base. Just needs some tweaks ;)

@BIackEyeSMITE I'd argue the opposite. Smite should have never marketed as heavy towards Conquest as it did over the years. They had to completely neglect casual modes and heavily invest into Conquest to finally make Arena and Assault no longer be the most popular game modes.

Fun thread, lots of people commenting that the casual modes (mainly Arena) should be removed to pivot Smite as a more competitive moba… Assuming that happened, I don’t think all the players maining those modes would switch to competitive modes…they’d probably just leave 😂

What’s a SMITE opinion that will have you like this?

@innocentrabbit_ Smite Reddit as a community leans very heavily into the whole PC Conquest/Ranked lifestyle. It also tends to be pretty unfriendly to people who don't play or care for those. People who play the other game modes usually keep for themselves because of that and other reasons.

We received just under 20,000 total votes, which is an amazing sample size to be able to work with. However, it is a biased sample. PC is overrepresented, as the platform of 75% of the respondents. Conquest & Slash are both overly represented compared to their live playerbase.

Recently, I asked for community input on Smite Gods most in need of a Nerf. Unsurprisingly at the time, The Manticore King had the dubious honor of “winning” this process. Almost a month later, Martichoras had a 0% pick-ban rate in the finals of the SPL kickoff tournament.⬇️

@EmilZySmite Back in my days, in germany, we had German in elementary school German/English in middle school, with options for french or spanish depending on the school and if you wanted to. Think some even offered latin because reasons. I think english is now in elementary these days, too.

I'm curious, what languages besides your native one, do you have to learn in school in your country? In Denmark we start with English in 1st grade and then chose between German and French in 5th grade.
