🚨 NE State Budget Stalemate: What We Know 🚨 Yesterday, the Nebraska Legislature failed to reach cloture to end debate (33 votes) on one of the two budget bills, LB 1071, over the removal of the $3.5 million private school voucher program.
Very simply, here is what happened on vouchers yesterday. Pillen and Ricketts got their cronies to refuse to pass a budget that didn't include privatr school vouchers in it.
