@sherlock_hulmes Morals aside (I hate ai uptake) I dont like what it does to requiem or starfield. It does make the footballers look more like the actual player (or at least more like people, I don’t know sport!), which I guess is a slight plus.

This is terrible. It looks awful (Ai Slop Filter over genuine artistic, intentional, cinematography) and it requires TWO 5090's to run. Nobody likes or wants this. But it's not made for people who play games. It's for the CEOs/Shareholders/Tech Bros.

@MrGMYT @Beartrice_WoW In TWW it was ok. But decor has changed that. If you want a dining table, you want 2 chairs.at least. That increases the expense massively. Toys, mounts, pets, tmog, are all “one and done”. But decor isn’t.

Why are people defending the Voidlight Marl grind? I played through the entirety of The War Within and I still need 300k+ Resonance Crystals to purchase everything. Some people did manage it, but that was mainly by running the same world quest every single week across multiple alts. Is that really good game design? I personally don’t think so. It’s even worse in Midnight. If someone wants multiple copies of a cool decor item, it can easily set them back thousands. When people say “you don’t need everything on day one,” they’re missing the point. I’m not asking for it right now. I just don’t want history repeating itself when the grind ahead already looks massive. For some players, collecting is their content, just like dungeons or PvP are for others. It’s completely fair to be concerned when that path starts to feel like an almost impossible task.
