@queenswagzilla Reading out loud is great advice! But so is limiting things like epithets to appeal to a wider audience, if that's what the writer wants. It's all stylistic, and all for fun. It does not make it bad advice. Advice is always just a suggestion, and I do say this with no hate.

@VohelArt so no, it is not blanket advice.

actual advice for writers: read your works aloud and make sure that it sounds right. if it’s supposed to flow, make sure the words don’t get caught on your teeth, make sure they don’t feel like nails against your tongue.

@queenswagzilla It is blanket advice though? Like, no hate but saying "actual advice" is giving blanket advice. The person you qrtd even says in that tweet thread to write what makes you happy. It's just a suggestion, not law?
