This is the road Captain Ibrahim Traore built in Burkina Faso 🇧🇫, what democracy couldn’t do for decades but helped France 🇫🇷 and the West loot the country dry.

This is why I still wonder why Nigeria remains at the table discussing a common currency with countries that don't produce. We would be trading our economic sovereignty for the "stability" of a graveyard. You don't win a trade war with a currency you don't control. It's a total misalignment because the two countries are built on different logic. Benin runs perpetual trade deficits and relies on French guarantees to stay afloat. Nigeria is driven by trade surpluses and local manufacturing. We need a flexible currency to keep our exports (like cocoa and cement) competitive. Joining the Eco means Nigeria would effectively start subsidising the region’s taste for foreign goods.

In Benin Republic, A truck carrying soft drinks had an accident and people were actually helping them pack the drinks in place, I know a country where all the drinks will be looted in minutes 🤦🏾♂️
