This is a Story of a young fatherless boy trying to sponsor his education in Nigeria. Faced with a lot of temptation, financial setbacks, women and peer pressure. His name is Samuel. Part #1 Samuel was in his 200Lv in the University when his father died in 2020 during the COVID. Caught with the tragic lost, with no one to help him further his education, he had to drop out of school. He lived with his sister in town, but his sister wasn't giving him that comfort zone, constant complaints in the house even when he did nothing wrong. His sister had 3 children and Samuel had to take them to school each morning and at 2pm he walks the streets again to go pick the sister's children from school. Things were getting worse each day and Samuel figured out it was never going to get better if he keeps sitting down. So, he went out ot find a job. Jobs were scarce and the only opportunity he got was to serve as a Watchman in one of the hotels in town. A young boy serving as a Watchman in a hotel where most of the customers were of his age and peers but he didn't let the shame get to him, he focused on his job. After the first month working as a Watchman, the salary come, it was supposed to be 20k, but Samuel got only 14k, he asked why 6k was deducted and he was told that the 6k was fine for the two times he came late. He felt cheated and decided to leave immediately. Samuel's target was to serve enough money so he can get back and complete his studies in school. So he applied to work with a Bet9ja outlet where he made some weekly earnings and got his complete salary of 15k. He had a saving box at home where he put some cash each day when he returns at 10pm. He never missed a day at work, and even on his off days, he exchanged it with someone else so he can continue working and saving up some money. After working for few months and believe he has saved enough in his little box at home, Samuel decided to get a phone for him. He had some cash in his wallet and planned on taking out some from the saving box to add and buy the phone, but reality struck him when he got home, opened the box and realised there was only #500 inside the box. He screamed at the top of his voice and was motionless for some minutes until his sister asked what happened. One of the sister's child said he saw one of his uncle who came to spend few days with them took money from that box, but before the little boy could speak, the mother (Samuel's sister) told him to shut his mouth. Samuel looked at her for a moment and left the house without saying a word.
