Hearing that Sauron has deposed Celebrimbor as Lord of Eregion for hoarding his precious rings. Sauron would like to make clear that this is not another foreign war for regime change, and that he will now make Middle-earth very wealthy. Lots to think about!

@myelessar Love all these books but think the films surpass each: Drive My Car: takes a short story and turns it into a 3 hour masterpiece Arrival: visual medium makes the plot twist more impactful The Martian: improved pacing and Damon elevates the material The Exorcist: cheating here

can you guys give me examples of where you’ve found a film adaptation to improve upon the book? i have been reading different books then watching the adaptions recently - the books are superior so far (surprise!)
