The main obstacle remains the player's price tag, with his market value estimated at around 70M, a significant figure given Barça's ongoing Financial Fair Play constraints heading into the next fiscal year. While the club is confident of returning to the 1:1 rule in the next transfer window, it still won't have complete financial freedom.
