@mcfcman66 Arsenal needed a favour from Everton and got it. We can get a favour from West ham or palace. Probably not Burnley.

Lads really seemed pissed off at the end with the look on their faces, only themselves to blame though… If you need a favour from West Ham to win the league then you probably haven’t done enough in the season….. And it isn’t going to happen

Anyone blaming Marc Guehi for that error is missing the point. He had no clear passing option, the midfield was completely disorganized. Nico Gonzalez was nowhere to be found. As the number 6, he should be collecting loose balls, providing an outlet from defence, and controlling the tempo, but he failed to do all of that. He was practically a spectator in the game.

Doku’s planted, Keane comes through him, that’s dangerous. We’ve seen those given all season. And this is where the frustration comes in, VAR is there to correct ‘clear and obvious’ errors. So if they’re not intervening for that, then what’s the point? What are we actually doing? Because now you’ve got a situation where: a goal that, by the law, should be ruled out… stands a red card offence… gets waved away And people will say ‘it evens out over the season’, no it doesn’t! Not at this level, not in a title race. You’ve got Michael Oliver on the pitch, VAR in his ear, and between them they’ve still got both calls wrong. That’s not pressure, that’s poor officiating. I’m telling you now, if that’s the standard, then we’re going to be having this same conversation every single week. And Professional Game Match Officials Limited have got to answer it, because right now, it just looks like inconsistency at the highest level.”

Annoying result but for those that went what was the stadium like?

@Peterthesnake @thegingerwig Being offside isn't an offence a lot of people don't get that. It was an unusual situation. If the ball had deflected off Guehi he'd be offside. But Guehi on control of the ball passed it to him so he's onside.

@thegingerwig He was offside, did the lines person put a flag up? was the game stopped? He was back on side when the ball was softly passed back to the keeper.

The current interpretation of the Offside rule is ridiculous It was brought in to stop goal hanging If Guehi doesn't touch the ball he's offside.

@thegingerwig It was careless from Guehi. The ref applied the law correctly this time.

Only two players showed up today: Doku and Cherki. Everyone else… nowhere near it. Midfield looked completely lost without Rodri! And the defence? Shocking. Cost us the game.

We win as a team and we lose as a team, but we also have to be honest about where we failed. He has to look in the mirror. He has to decide if he’s a City player or if he’s still a 'mid-table' defender in his head. Because if we lose this title by two points, we all know exactly which moment we’re going to look back on. I’ll support him, but he needs to realize almost isn't good enough at city.

I obviously want Manchester City to win the Premier League for the Blue Cartel but tonight Everton have been robbed blind. Everton should have been awarded a penalty when Silva rugby tackled Rohl And conceding in the 98th minute when they awarded 6 minutes injury time is ridiculous.

That point still gives us a chance, but in all honesty I don't see Arsenal dropping any points.
