I will always depend on public healthcare and government insured health coverage at all times. I am not the type to go to Agha Khan, or the Nairobi Hospital, when a public level 6 hospitals can offer the same services. I want my taxes to work for me.

Siz @Honeyfarsafi, I respect that you want to prove a point, but how come I registered myself and covered my family just by using my smart phone? It didn't even take 10 minutes. For your information, I pay 24 bob daily and it covers us all. Recently, my spouse had a bill of 107k post delivery, SHA paid 102k, I only paid 5k due to late notification. This was in Russia ( JOOTRH, Kisumu). If you want proof I can give you. I don't want to say much but I read mischief in your tweets. If you can afford private insurance, just do what you got to do but mimi ordinary Kenyan, SHA is my only hope and it has worked for me. Test me and I will give you proof.

I’m glad the SHA conversation is back. Government bloggers have been telling me I’m avoiding SHA when it’ll cover my expenses so that it won’t fit my agenda. Now, I’ve tried registering for SHA since yesterday and it’s disastrous. I’ve given it so many opportunities as you see below. The *147# option does not work technical error. I managed to register on their website and had to use my laptop it refused on my phone. I’ve been trying to pay using all options!!! So many times. The 200222 paybill does not work. I’ve called them through 147 and boy they’re not picking up wasting my credit with that stupid song. What’s seriously wrong with these people? Why do they keep lying like this? At the expense of people’s lives who’re actually stuck at the hospitals desperately wanting things to work. Ffs!

@OleItumbi Been with my mum in a hospital called Itando in vihiga ...we get to the hospital they are telling us we're nit admitting her untill SHA pays out ...Tumekaa na mgonjwa for over 1 hour kwa bench hapo just waiting for the system to operate it did not we sorted using cash

You may have political differences with the Government. That is your right. But your health is not politics. SHA works.
Do not let “Must Go” activism block you from medical cover. Get the SHA subscription. Use it. Then come back with your testimony.
Some of us were fundraising for hospital bills every week in the village. SHA changed that.
Bora upone and the bill is sorted by @_shakenya, you can always go back and say 'Must Go" because SHA Works. No problem.

Since last year, I’ve been moving from hospital to hospital trying to get surgery for my ears, and they’re getting worse by the day. I could wake up and don’t hear anything at all. The major private hospitals are charging over Ksh 500,000 per ear which means more than a million shillings for both. I have insurance, but apparently the surgeon’s fee and the anesthetist’s fee have to be paid in cash upfront that’s about Ksh 300,000 on its own, separate from the hospital charges. And makes me wonder what the insurance is for???? The second option, a missionary hospital, doesn’t accept AAR insurance either, but they say SHA can cover the procedure fully(highly doubt it). The only issue is they’re still waiting for the specialist to be flown in. The third hospital just keeps giving me medication instead of addressing the surgery. And the fourth ,the private wing at KNH also doesn’t take AAR. 🤦♀️ On a serious note, take care of health Mahn it’s messy out here

@OleItumbi SHA only works between 8 AM and 11AM for all outpatient, as from 12PM cash only,works only for inpatient,and difficulties for dependants.I advise that you call the hospital before you waste your time.Writing from Singapore Central.Wantam.

Last year say I got a job that paid me 500k. I paid 3 people I worked with 100k each total 300k and I remained with 200k and spent an extra 100k on other expenses. My profit is 100k and I expect to pay 30k
Now KRA want me to pay 30% of 500k = 150k since I don’t have Etims of those payments

If you take the kes 10000,and invest I a small restaurant and sell food and for instance you sell food after adding value and have a return of kes 25,000,that is Revenue.
