@briantimoney Thanks so much Brian, that means a lot. I deeply appreciated our annual snowstorm meetings at FMEWT Denver and gained so much for every one of them. Please remember me during every March blizzard in the years ahead!

I live in Amish country. Because of their long-established presence, we have really wide shoulders that are great for running and biking. On my long run yesterday, I watched a pickup truck slow down to “roll coal” on an Amish man on a bike. You must be really brave to torment pacifists.

@SigTill @shapefiIe A good mystery. It is possible to have records marked as deleted in these formats which could create surprises. What does fme’s DBF reader tell you about the DBF? The records do line up sequentially between the SHP and DBF. If still stumped do send it my way and we’ll dig in

I have a dbf and shp with the same name and same number of elements. The attributes shows when opening the shp but are empty. But dbf contains full attribute data. Can I assume feature 1 in dbf= nr 1 in shp etc? #gis #FME #etl @shapefiIe not sure what's wrong.

I am sure there will be a lot of interesting ideas how to use custom parameter dialogs in workspaces and custom transformers in #FME:23 and on. Conditional Visibility is probably my favourite part of the upcoming FME release.

@BraggWKen I knew there were more good reasons to avoid attribute managers, previously I've been able to search workspaces to find out where an attribute gets renamed, now it's referenced in every attribute manager after it - painful

@briantimoney @pwramsey I’m somehow reminded of my introduction to eBay many years ago, where one thing led to another, and the next thing I knew I was awaiting a package from Switzerland…

I’ve been in enough useless meetings to last me a dozen lifetimes. I vowed to never put myself (or my team) through one again. So I created a weekly meeting framework called the “Weekly Sync”. It will: Make your team feel supported and empowered by eliminating mistakes and bottlenecks before they happen Get your team CLEAR on what needs to get done Create ownership and accountability among your team members Make your team feel seen and appreciated. Plus, you can run this meeting in 30 minutes, give or take. Reply SYNC and I’ll send you a copy.

@ipkw @FMEEvangelist @SafeSoftware Hi, you can't write out to both in the exact same FeatureWriter, but there's no problem sending copies of the same data into two FeatureWriters as shown below. Would that do the trick?

@FMEEvangelist @SafeSoftware Is there a possibility that #FeatureWriter transformer write out features on to different locations? ie: on to Oracle database as well as output as CSV file on to a local drive?
