I do not use 529 accounts; instead, I create individual brokerage accounts in my name, with each kid as the beneficiary of "their" account. This way, this is under my control until I deem otherwise. I currently dollar-cost average using my custom investing strategy for each child. I will test out the Trump accounts and let you know what I think.
