We strongly urge the UN to make Caste-based discrimination as a form of racism. Apartheid ended in South Africa more due to international than internal pressure. We believe that the only option to free Dalits from caste is by internationalising the plight of Dalits.

However, the European Parliament has acknowledged caste discrimination and has sent a strong message of support to crores of people all over the world who are subjected to it, by urging the EU to step up efforts to address this human rights issue.
