@Revolutionteach @KatyPeternel @NHGOP It sounds to me like the towns think that the bill is too high. I don’t think it has anything to do with the GOP three years in a row maybe somebody’s not getting the hint
English

@Dallasc8u @KatyPeternel We literally vote on the budgets every year and schools have meetings open to public every other week. Towns my SAU is in have voted down proposed budgets three straight years. Now folks are doing a gofundme for MS sports. Something isn't working. But maybe it is for @nhgop
English

No. Absolutely not. The number one reason to home educate a child is to educate that child in the best manner a parent deems fit. Taking government money opens a family up to government control. Home education is exercising a natural right.

If you decide to pull your child from public school and homeschool your child You should get the full $13,000 for your child that would have been spent on your child in public school
English

What if there was a way for the towns to be able to take back the schools from the district without the huge penalties and cost The district is going to put on them that seems like something the state could do. considering the towns bought the school buildings that they’re using for the districts in the first place, and the districts use trickery in their wording for their budgets and their proposals, and everybody feels like they have to for the kids or because the government says so
English

@Dallasc8u All of those people should vote in their town elections, run for school board, etc. By not actively participating, voters determine their property taxes. The state has very little control over that. Property taxes are a local control issue.
English

That goes back to what I said originally or the schools have to cut back less teachers they don’t have as many students so they shouldn’t need more teachers less buses. We already have a union trying to scalp us for more money because the bus drivers don’t seem to think they get paid enough. Everybody always wants more. so let’s just raise the taxes on all of the people you mentioned, especially the elderly who can’t make any more money on fixed incomes. I feel really bad for all of those people but the schools they feel bad for no one and they don’t wanna cut back on their end at all they should not be receiving 60 to 70% of the towns tax on the property.
English

We are working on all of those issues but back to funding…when we start offering abatements, credits, etc, someone else has to pay more. So, no, home educators shouldn’t get a tax break for not using public schools. Unless those same tax breaks are given to families who use private schools, seniors, people who never had kids…
English

How about we work on government regulations they seem to be driving the cost through the roof. How come local schools can’t buy food from anybody except the ones that are on the list by DHS just a question and maybe administration is a little bloated and over paid for what they do but that goes with every government job compared to the working class people so the problem is bigger than me, but it is definitely out of control
English

@KatyPeternel I listen to them all the time I listen to an hour long conversation the other day about sunscreen, which should not be a problem, but somehow it is so yes I have listened whatever happened to common sense?
English

@KatyPeternel Or they have to cut back something the government doesn’t like to do ever
English

@Dallasc8u How do you suggest public education should be funded if people start getting abatements or credits for not utilizing the public education system? Someone has to pay the difference.
English

People get abatements on the property tax based on valuation I know you know how this works. It should be the same for education, considering public school has dropped in pupil size over the years and more people are homeschooling and using charter schools if they can’t get some kind of relief then what’s the point
English

@Dallasc8u What abatement do they get on their property tax?
English

@KatyPeternel I’m suggesting that they should be allowed to get an abatement, same as they do on their property tax
English

@Dallasc8u Are you suggesting that only families currently utilizing public education should be taxed?

THE DEBATE IS OVER.
All those trails you see daily in the sky left by Planes - they are NOT simply water vapour or condensation trails as many people claim.
Listen to the Unrefutable science as to why.
To all those that have continually called this out - you were right - you were always right and you always knew it ‼️

@MikeBelcher14 It’s all smoke and mirrors. They did not do away with tariffs. They just did away with the procedure used. There are still plenty of ways for tariffs to continue.🧐
English

Taxes are just taxes. Tariffs function as a tax, but also as a tool of geopolitics and national security.
The Dems want to tax you through through the nose.
They oppose that these tariffs are being used to hurt their international Communist allies.
That's all.

Chuck Schumer: "Congress has the ultimate authority to impose these tariffs. I'm urging - for the sake of American families - pleading with my Republican colleagues, to buck Donald Trump and not allow him to impose these tariffs on the American people."

@Terese4NH I feel the same way I currently sit on the zoning board and I often wonder where are all the people at?planning board ,budget committee all the same🙄
English

For all the state control, central planning, surveillance city, big developer influenced, nazis…..pretending their legislation is justified to lord over local planning of town zoning tyrants….
Riddle me this…..
If it was truly a concern at the local level why would every zoning seat be left open on the last day of filing?

I think the deluge of current threats are all connected. I remember a speech by Obama, stating that they would pump so much information out that eventually people will no longer know what to believe and his quote was “that’s when we’ve got them ! sure feels like that’s where we’re at. it reminds me of the story of Stalin with the chicken. All I can say is communism is not American.
English

@Dallasc8u I wish I had better news on that front. I don't think people are going to face what they ought to for that - and at this point it's unfortunately taken a back seat to the deluge of current existential threats.

If the UN is jumping on this right now there's a play afoot.
