Since Feb this year I set non-negotiables that I’ve stuck to everyday;
- Cut 99% sugar out of the diet (Takeaway on Saturdays is fine, Dad loves a choccy shake or ice cream).
- High protein, healthy fats, no processed carbs for my 2 meals. Keep a tight calorie range.
- Intermittent fasting (16:8, 3-4 days/week). I enjoy the mental challenge of the process. I'm keen to have a crack at a 36hr water fast next year.
- Minimum of 10k steps a day. I mix weights & boxing in as well throughout the week.
I've gone from 106kg down to 84kg. I have way more energy every day, I'm fitter - which has had a massively positive impact on our business. Most importantly, it's transformed my family life and marriage. Having more positive energy for all the important things in my life has been everything.
I was overweight, depressed, smashing painkillers and going through it at the end of esports and looking back is quite scary. If u want to make a change don’t wait for NY resolutions, excuses or tomorrow just start that shit today, it's worth it trust me!
