@ToddJDavey There is substantial player talent. Where there is not enough talent is list management and talent identification. Loads of AFL standard players not on lists and then loads on a list who probably shouldn’t be. Look at the impact of some of the older recruits. Stewart, Mihocek etc

I think the AFL should bring in a relegation / promotion system. Not to dissimilar to the EPL. Start with relegating Essendon. Shocking club. I’d bring in South Port. Fantastic club.
