After 38 radiation treatments last spring, I had to wait six months to be tested again for cancer. Happy to report that I am cancer free! Thanks, @huntsmancancer

Did you know that I am selling Utah to China? That’s the latest allegation from my increasingly desperate opponent. “It’s time to be honest” the email reads. “This is terrifying.” It’s also a complete lie. And my opponent knows it. “Utah deserves a Governor who will stand up to China.” The good news is that we already have one.
The truth is that some Chinese companies bought agricultural land throughout much of the United States before I was governor. As China has become increasingly hostile to US interests, we decided to do something about it. So, with my full support the Utah legislature passed two bills—and I signed them into law—that prohibit the purchase of land by entities owned or headquartered in China, Iran, North Korea or Russia. For any existing land owned, they have one year to sell the land or it will be returned to the state to be sold.
Why doesn’t my opponent mention any of this? It’s possible he doesn’t know that we already solved the problem…even though he’s literally in the legislature and voted for both bills. But the truth is that he knows lying and negative campaigning work and so he does it over and over again on dozens of different topics.
The worst part is that people actually believe this stuff. Unfortunately, it’s often the people who claim to be the most informed who are the most willing to believe the lies. Delegates at the state convention were convinced that I have pocketed hundreds of millions of dollars by selling land to China. One of our volunteers asked a Republican delegate, “Is there anything Governor Cox could do or say to prove that he has never received a dime from China?” The response: “No.”
The hardest thing in politics these days is running a positive and honest campaign. Lies and negative campaigning are cheap and cowardly. I promised 4 years ago I would never run a negative campaign. I have kept my promise and I’m proud that we do things the right way. Whether it’s the largest tax cuts in our state’s history, preserving our 2nd Amendment rights, increasing teacher pay and giving parents more choice in education, or protecting the life of the unborn, our administration has delivered conservative wins that have made Utah the best state in the nation.
If you haven’t voted yet, I would encourage you to visit my website to see the truth about the other lies my opponent has been spreading. You can watch a town hall where I talk about every single unfounded accusation (although there seem to be new lies almost every day): votecox.com/misinformation
Remember to mail your ballot on Monday, or you can deliver it or vote in person on Tuesday!

@SpencerJCox So do you get a commission on the sale? Like a realtor’s 6%? Or just a flat fee? 😂

#9 - LYMAN CLAIM: The Lieutenant Governor engaged in "100% obstruction" and "election interference" for not placing Phil’s first LG Layne Bangerter on the ballot.
TRUTH: A judge ruled that Bangerter did not meet the constitutional residency requirement because he hadn't lived in the state for the preceding 5 years.
(Fun fact: Bangerter was also forced to resign as the campaign treasurer for an Attorney General candidate in 2022 because he didn’t meet Idaho's residency requirement).

#6 - LYMAN CLAIM: Utah has "aggressively raised taxes" under Gov. Cox.
TRUTH: Gov. Cox signed into law the largest tax cut in Utah history and has not raised taxes. Falsely accusing his legislative colleagues of raising taxes also helps explain why a majority of Utah Republican legislators have endorsed the Governor.
