In Berlin for an official working visit, I had the pleasure to meet this April 27 (National Day in Togo), Ms Katja Keul, Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office. Discussions were around ECOWAS Commission's and German Government collaboration on shared concerns.

Meeting with Mrs Cristina S. Pedreira, Head of ECOWAS Nat. Cell in Guiné-Bissau, and the National Early Warning (EW) Centre, to discuss measures in order to bring to scale the EW Centre & implement interventions under the ECOWAS FRSD to enhance resilience among women & youth.

Du 6-10 mars 2023, la Vice-Présidente de la Commission, Damtien L. Tchinchibidja, a conduit une délégation de la CEDEAO à Washington D.C. aux USA avec l'objectif de promouvoir des partenariats visant à renforcer le système d'alerte précoce et d’intervention rapide de la CEDEAO..

Meeting with Brigadier General A.M. Grema, Force Commander of ECOWAS Stabilization and Support Mission to Guiné-Bissau (ESSMGB) in the margin of an official mission to the country. The ESSMGB was assured of ECOWAS Commission’s management commitment towards its success.

ECOWAS Commission's VP and H.E. Suzi Carla Barbosa, Minister of State Foreign Affairs and Int. Coop. of Guiné-Bissau laid foundations for the building of a 66-bed Maternity & Pediatric Wards at Bafatá Reg. Hospital, financed by the Regional Stabilization Fund with support of BMZ.

Courtesy call on H.E. Nuno G. Nabiam, Prime Minister of Guiné-Bissau and H.E. José Carlos V. Casimiro, Minister of Economy, Planning and Reg. Integration at the Government Palace in Bissau, to galvanize support for ongoing ECOWAS programs in the country.

Courtesy visit to H.E. Umaro Embaló, Pres. Rep. of Guiné-Bissau & Chair of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Gov. An opportunity to brief the highest authority on Reg. Stabilization Fund’s investments and operationalization of the National Early Warning Centre in the country
