Day 86 in Ecom
Day 9: #11 prod
$400/day milestone reached! Super fucking happy.
4.5 ROAS for today. I need to get my daily spend limit up as soon as possible. 35 ~ 40% margin
Once the limit has been raised, i will push more ads into the camp currently, and let it roll!
Today is day one of documenting my journey to $10k/day at 13 years old.
If I don’t get there in 50 days from this post i’m adding a 🏳️🌈 to my name.
Yesterdays stats:
Revenue: $330
Ad Spend: $150
ROAS: 2.20
COGS: $90
Profit: $90
Margin: 27%
Today is going CRAZY btw 😉
@itsliellevin How many static ads you testing with on Day 1? Will you be adding more within the next couple of days? Or just let them get some spend for now?
$0-$1m with eCom - Day 61
pdp ready
campaign scheduled for tomorrow targeting top 4, only TOF static ads
in pdp I focused on a lot of social proof and making it very simple, congruent, focused on one main messaging/specific outcome the customer deeply wants
static ads because no vid content is available for this product - if (when) it pops off, i'll get custom content
OR as a next step I'll craft some bangin' AI ugc scripts (will likely do this in next couple days, lets see how first 2 days of campaign perform)
will probably have nothing to update on tomorrow since it will still be in the middle of day for ads but we'll see :)
cya tomorrow!
Helped a beginner from Twitter again to get profitable in 1 Week after he tried on his own for 1 year
With a Step by Step Framework that everybody can use and copy
Comment "casestudy" and I will send you the case study over (if you don't follow the stupid bot can't DM you)
Hey Liel, have been going back through all your tweets since 2025 and thoroughly reading them and the comments.
This tweet is an exact realization I had early February and that the spam testing I was doing was extremely stupid.
In this tweet you talk about working on creative knowledge for 2 months. What did you do during these 2 months that helped you learn and progress so much? Just analyze other creatives from winning brands on a deeper level?
The reason I ask is because I don't currently have the budget to test products as often as I'd like, but I may as well find something else in the ecom space to grind on and get better at each day.
I know creatives and offer are what many say are "most important" or at least one of the first things to improve so that's my reasoning.
Appreciate your time and any insight you have, thanks.
$0-$1m with eCom - Day 8
If you are currently feeling stuck in ecom, you NEED to read this...
this product that I'm selling right now, I actually tested 1.5 months ago and killed it prematurely.
I spent $100, got 1 sale, and said 'alright thats not good enough' and moved on.
YOU NEED TO APPROACH ECOM LIKE A MAD SCIENIST.
"all the answers are in the data"
This time, I approached it differently, since I had 2 months full of focusing JUST on creative knowledge
This time, I started asking myself QUESTIONS and moving with INTENTION.
I looked back into the test that I killed that was unprofitable, and asked myself:
alright, i know this product sells. It's a good product and it taps into a strong desire and actually solves a problem.
What creatives did I run in this test, and why were they not successful?
...too broad, didnt target a specific avatar, hook was weak, didn't sell on outcomes properly, didn't explain mechanism, boring pacing, xyz etc etc
Okay, and if i want to be profitable right off the bat with broad targeting, what do my ads need to look like?
Target problem aware-solution aware people (lowest hanging fruit), I need to tell facebook EXACTLY (through the creative) who I'm targeting, I need to educate them on the mechanism & root cause of their problem better, etc etc etc....
And now...
This product is a 'successful product'
But it was already successful even in my unprofitable test.. I just had to UNCOVER it through proper analysis & looking at the DATA.
Spam testing product tests & creatives is NOT the way.
You're like a dog chasing after its own tail
You need to learn from every feedback & analyze every failure and every success.
high cpc/cpm - ads are shit or product is shit (if u sell a validated product, ads are shit)
good cpc but bad sales metrics (atc, checkouts etc) - offer problem - improve your offer
Look at the data. Analyze. Check where's the dropoff. Ask yourself what's wrong, what can you improve and is it worth improving.
THEN decide if you're gonna move on or not.
Cya tomorrow!
(screenshot from today's ad analysis - I have probably identified a specific winning angle and going to test 3-4 new ads with that specific angle)
"DrOpShIpPiNg iS dEaD"
No its not. In fact its probably one of the best business models in terms of low barrier to entry.
The perception that's sold to 99% of people is that you'll fuck around, test a few products and magically become a millionaire overnight.
Reality?
I went through:
•9 months grinding with 0 tangible results
•47 failed products
•Burned $13k on ads
•Went $5k in the red
ALL before seeing my first $100 profit day
This is a game of last man standing, not your 3-month retirement plan.
Perseverance is key 🔑
$0-$1m with eCom - Day 50
- new winning ad found
- scheduled 5 new ads with my own scripts
- tomorrow going to start working on a pre-sell quiz page, just to test it out for fun, got the idea from a friend
- bumped ad spend by 20% today
i might need to start sourcing creators and custom content soon to have competitive advantage. thoughts? or too soon?
CYA TOMORROW BOYS
$0-$1m with eCom - Day 48
taking a moment to appreciate each and every one of you who tunes in to these posts - even if you just liked 1 post - i appreciate you very much, and very grateful for you
it seems this shit really inspires people. and i hope i'll get to inspire you even more the more we progress into this journey to $1m and beyond
decent margin day, staying at the same ad spend even though im a bit fearful lol. but i refuse to scale down
not much to update today - taking it slow and letting the current 2 AB tests gather up data so i can determine winners with 100% confidence
tomorrow I'll test new ads as i dont like doing nothing with the store lol. maybe ugc, maybe new scripts and diff formats - we'll see
cya tomorrow!!!
$0-$1m with eCom - Day 45
just realized my top spending country is US and its not even profitable, turned it off
bumped budget a bit into the weekend
a/b testing different offers trying to increase AOV/CVR
ab testing is so fun i wish i had $20k daily spend just to validate things quickly and to test a bunch of stuff hehe
i have this constant doubt whether this will continue performing & or will just die out in 2 days - i guess its just a part of the game. im definitely doing everything i can to try & scale this
weekend is here, taking it easy for friday & saturday - sunday we back at it full speed!
have a relaxing weekend everyone :)
Had the realization that I keep looking around for help when the only person who can help me is me.
Much different as I progress, but in the early stages it’s no one but myself.
The $100k/mth Ecom guru thinks he has it all figured out copy pasting products
The $100M/year Ecom brand owner is concerned they don’t know enough and that they must continue to study.
“Your worst enemy already lives inside you: your ego.”
Your mindset and personal development are as important as developing the skills to scale to where you want.
“What is rare is not raw talent, skill, or even confidence, but humility, diligence, and self-awareness.
This is the difference between the top dogs and you.
Few.
$0-$1m with eCom - Day 44
$2k day
new ads launched
ebook is done and added to the higher-tier offer
changed the additional free gift to be more convincing by making it better
staying on this daily spend ($700) and becoming a menace with AB testing, starting with pricing, diff offers etc
(hopefully i won't have to scale down while AB testing and margins continue to be decent)
turned off the listicle
lets get it.
