Harry, Jr stopped by the Senate today. Solid dude. His dad was a fantastic man and gave me my first opportunity for public service. I can’t ever repay him for it. Thanks Harry, Sr. Harry Jr doing a concert in NYC to honor his mom shortly. Go see it if you can.

Senate President Joel Chaisson asked me to do the Senate Prayer on June 3, 2010. As a small thank you, President Chaisson gave me this nice paper weight that he had the entire prayer reproduced on. Came across it today. The video archives reveals cheering. The prayer holds up.

Pretty sure foul language is prohibited by the rules of the La Senate. Not sure who to report the violation to. Just heard a youngster utter on the Senate floor, “Hotty Totty!” Blasphemy.

The La Senate, as to the public & lobbyists, is divided into the “North Door” and “South Door.” The references cause my mind to wander a bit. With the North Door reference, one might go to Game of Thrones. I think I see Jon Snow and, perhaps, Tyrion Lannister in the gallery.

Mike Fawer has left the courtroom for good. He had a good run. What a talent to learn from. Had one case where we were with the same client. It was a privilege to work with (for) him. Godspeed Mike.
