The #NIT is down to eight teams, and SEVEN of them are mid-majors. Let us know who you think will cut down the nets in Indy.

Mason Falslev, Marson Templin and the rest of the returners probably took huge pay cuts to stay and play for Calhoun. (Calhoun got a big raise)
I’m sure they loved finding out from
Twitter their coach was leaving and had been in negotiations with other schools long before the season was over. We certainly know it had been longer than a week.
Calhoun was never staying. We met his price and he left anyway.
If it wasn’t Cincy it would’ve been K State.

@CZ49557056 @NickViaNyte Last month he sucked. He sucked last two games as well. 0-7 from three against GW and terrible defense. What games are you watching?

@DanCo007 Pitino left the first chance he could, he just couldn’t win enough to get out.
Tough.
Wouldn’t know about that, too much winning. Doesn’t matter who we hire
English

@BattleCattleFan Pitino stayed four years. How long did your last four coaches stay?
You’re the only one crying. Have another Coca Cola.
English

@DanCo007 Who cares. Pitino couldn’t get out of ABQ fast enough. Olen will leave asap too.
Don’t come crying to me. At least we’re making the tournament every year. Good luck

Utah State will always outplay teams with the same budget and resources. We do more with less.
The Aggship@TheAggship
Man, you triple Utah State's roster budget like the admin is aiming for, pick up some extra strength of schedule help in the Pac-12, and you've got a stew going in Logan. Feels like the closest this program has been to fully breaking through
English

@BattleCattleFan By the same logic you’d be ok with USU football crashing and burning. Oh wait, they already have.
English

@henry_oz @gratefulaggie5 I think he had trouble coaching his life. He’s a loser.
English

@gratefulaggie5 @DanCo007 Lol. Wish he would have been successful at UNM. I think he had trouble coaching his kid
English

@coachmosser Feels like Elamin to Cincy... but USU could hire Eric Olen for example. He brings over Jake Hall & a few others. Falslev stays home. USU has plenty of cash to outbid quite a few programs for who they want. USU is in a win win scenario.

Worst kept secret of the year
Next man up for Aggies. They’ve done it before, it would be foolish to doubt them this time
The key, as I’ve said, will be who can they retain on the roster. Looking at you MF and AE

Breaking news: Utah State coach Jerrod Calhoun has agreed to be the next coach at Cincinnati and will return to his alma mater, sources told @CBSSports. Calhoun, 44, just took USU to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments. He'd been Cincy's top target for weeks. cbssports.com/college-basket…
