The last time I filled up, oil was $100 a barrel. It is $100 a barrel right now but gas is $.40 a gallon more. They are definitely gouging us at the pump. This Exxon station is $4.39. Right down the street at an independent station it is $4.09.

In prior times when oil was around $100 a barrel, gas prices were about $3.50 per gallon. We are being gouged by retailers big time!

Gas prices at the pump are much higher than they need to be based upon the price of oil. We are being gouged folks, just like insurance rates skyrocketed 100% when inflation maxed at 9.1%.
