I am concerned to hear of the incident at Manchester Central Mosque last night. I know this will be worrying for Muslim communities, especially during Ramadan, a time of peace and reflection. My thanks go to the volunteers and emergency services for their quick response. We have provided up to £40 million funding for additional security at mosques, Muslim schools and community centres, and will continue to act to ensure communities are able to live without fear.

What you call powerful and inspiring comes across as overhyped, poorly executed and hollow. The pacing, writing and performances fail to deliver anything remotely memorable and the messaging is heavy handed at best. Frankly, this just makes it clear you have a consistently poor taste in films, elevating mediocrity into must watch status doesn’t make it good, it makes it misleading. Criticism of the BAFTA controversy doesn’t require aligning with a subpar movie. Quality and insight aren’t interchangeable.

I watched this movie last night. Incredibly powerful and inspiring. Might have been wise for all those gobbing off about the BAFTA N-word saga to have watched it too before making so many shockingly ill-informed comments. I'm looking at the likes of you, Jamie Foxx!

The choices this Labour government has made means inflation has fallen today to its lowest rate in a year. Lower food and petrol prices are helping ease the pressure on household budgets. I know there’s more to do, cutting the cost of living is my number one priority.

Today riyasth Hussain was handed a 20 year jail sentence for the rapes he did when I was 13 years old I stared him in the face as I read my own victim impact statement out ….. I’m so proud of what I’ve done and I have taken 7 seriously dangerous men of the streets my only regret is not been able to do it sooner …. Kick It Out statement: Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s comments are disgraceful and deeply divisive at a time when football does so much to bring communities together. In addition to the inaccurate figures mentioned, it’s worth reminding him that Manchester United has a diverse fan base and plays in a city whose cultural history has been enriched by immigrants. This type of language and leadership has no place in English football, and we believe most fans will feel the same.

Jim Ratcliffe moved to Monaco (I wonder why), after backing Brexit 🙄. Restoring order and control to our immigration system is a top priority, but we are doing that within our British values - something Ratcliffe clearly lacks. Firm but fair.
