@NH32563455 @JamesCleal @leo_watts33581 @TheGillsFC @Julian_KPI This is the thing for me, yes he assists a fair few, but his role of LB he is by far our weak link in defence and teams identify that and always play down his side - as a wing back he is okay at best, but if we’re playing a 4 he is truly awful🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes we may have created (but not converted) some good chances, and yes we maybe should’ve had a penalty or two, but the bottom line is that those moments came when the game was long gone due to a performance that lacked all the basics. @GillsInTheBlood Not much wrong with this at all! Only slight tweaks I’d potentially argue is Hutton for Mcleary and McKenzie for Coleman - aside from them, that’s a team that “should” be winning games at this level! #gills

This would be my team for Saturday. We’ve won nowhere near enough points (17 from our last 19 games is relegation form) for too long now that surely changes, real changes, have to be made. The three centre backs would help us retain more defensive solidity, but two forward thinking wing backs (albeit one is a defender by trade) can get us on the front foot. I would play our most natural holding midfielder as a single shield with two players who can take & use the ball well in advance of him, then a proper big man little man front two. #Gills #GFC 💙

I have been toying with the idea of publishing this for a few weeks and having contacted Brad Galinson a few weeks ago and received no reaction I will go ahead. As you no doubt know I am 83 yrs old but still have all my marbles as they said in my day and I am not religious. I can remember years ago the Gills were going through a similar bad and long period of results and with the curse being often mentioned, (as it still is today) the club brought in a church specialist to bless the club or whatever they do and the situation improved. The club has brought in tried and tested managers and attacking players whose G +A has then dried up as soon as they get here, with no plausible explanation for this drop in form. The Catholic church still has specialists to lift any unholy ties. Now Gareth Ainsworth was educated at a catholic college and is a practising catholic, so I am asking, should the club try to organise any such ritual? I am not saying I believe it will work but it did before so what's to lose. UTG this What's to lose

I think we can call that second half a bit of a non event from both sides. Only a couple of pot shots at goal and both teams cancelling each other out. We had two chances to threaten on the break but did not look convincing in either of them. Unfortunately, as soon as Vokes and Andrews were paired up top we didn’t look like a threat at all. I’ll take a draw from that based on our first half performance, and onto the next. Who stood out for you today? #Gills
