Harvest 2024 starts here! A few hundred thousand happy plants soaking up the sun shine this week! Thank goodness for good irrigation to keep them going!! These will be used for fruit production next year 🍓💦🌱☀️

Electric weeding ⚡️⚡️ Nice to finally see a demo working up close on a neighbouring farm! Big fan of non chem weed control for what I'm involved with, electic kills it all the way to the roots, just as glyphosate would! Super impressive, black marks show contact area ⚡️👌

@XantheClay @chrisfruitnet Not sure on the plastic smell, but it's probably as simple as an irrigation imbalance, or as happens in mid summer with high fruit load, the plant can't produce enough sugars for all the fruits demand, leading to some with lower brix (sugars) and a more acidic taste

One HUGE strawberry! At almost the size of a tennis ball the #Murano is putting out the berries. Will be picked tomorrow so someone will have this in their punnet soon!
