Checked this article for propaganda: Propaganda Rating: B | framing bias Washington Post's Coverage of Trump-TotalEnergies Deal: Accurate on Basics, But Framing Misleads on Costs and Context The Washington Post accurately reports the existence of a $1 billion settlement between the Trump Interior Department and TotalEnergies to end two offshore wind leases, but its title and lead employ misleading framing by presenting a reimbursement of Biden-era payments as a new U.S. expenditure to "halt" projects for oil and gas. Checked this article for propaganda: Propaganda Rating: B | framing bias Verdict: This Washington Post article delivers a mostly fair account of Supreme Court oral arguments on Mississippi's mail ballot grace period, accurately capturing justices' skepticism and legal stakes. However, it employs alarmist framing on potential nationwide disruption while omitting data on the minimal scale of affected ballots, tilting emphasis toward access concerns over uniformity arguments. Checked this article for propaganda: Propaganda Rating: D | language bias Verdict: Robert Reich's Substack opinion piece casts Trump's signals of winding down U.S. military efforts in Iran as an imminent "surrender," using loaded framing and personal attacks that downplay verifiable U.S. battlefield gains, turning a potential strategic de-escalation into a narrative of personal failure. One government? It really amazes me how people like @mehdirhasan can only understand responsibility when applied to Israel. Iran is a country pretty damn far away from Israel, it could have just left Israel alone. Lebanon could have the same relationship with Israel that Jordan and Egypt do. The Palestinians could have made Gaza into a functioning state, and could have had the West Bank too. The secret? Middle Eastern negotiators hate this one trick! Accept Israel exists and stop trying to attack Israel.
