@SniersMoregut It's been 4-4-2 the last three games. The main issue is that we don't have an right sided attackers available hence a lot of change there. But it's clearly been a fairly standard 442

@DanLG98 I dont think weve played a recognisable formation since Tudor arrived personally

Very difficult to express what I’m feeling after that. I’m in a state of numb shock But I think, I think, we’ll be relegated playing a back 3/5 Every decision Tudor made today looked very wrong and strange

@nad_THFC Harsh on Ange. He prioritised the EL because he wanted a trophy and had half a squad. Hard to argue it was the wrong call considering we were completely safe in the league and won EL. If anything this season proves that our league form wasn't actually down to him.

Postecoglou allowing players to give up on the league last season is one of the big reasons we are in such a huge mess. The players mentally don’t prepare properly for these games Then, to make matters worse, we employed a manager who couldn’t organise a piss up in the brewery.

@AshGCOYS @Will62667746 @thespursweb He got a few goals but I agree he hasn't really looked fit. We was one of the highest pressing forwards in the Prem before his injury, whereas he rarely seems to sprint atm. Definitely need more out of him.

Former Spurs keeper Paul Robinson: "I don’t see a structure. A game plan, or a way of playing. I don’t see a tactical idea. I see a team that’s set up in the first instance, that changes two or three times during the game. They look devoid of ideas, and a manager who is looking for something that he is yet to find, and no time to find it." [BBC]

@AshGCOYS @Will62667746 @thespursweb I agree. But I think that's an issue with the squad itself. I haven't been confident of us creating since Kudus got injured. I get not starting Simons but I'd have had him on at HT ahead of Bergval.

@AshGCOYS @Will62667746 @thespursweb People would then moan about Richy / Solanke / Tel etc... being benched. I don't really think there was much wrong with the way we started. We were the better side first half. We probably struggle once we're behind regardless of who started today.

@DanLG98 @Richard0Head @NathanAClark Yeah I don’t think we fell apart because porro got moved to his natural position. They’re mental midgets, and could never handle the pressure of being down a goal in a game as crucial as this.

Great fight, intensity, determination. Spurs winning the territory, duels and attacking with both intent and numbers but... plagued by the lack of technical and creative ability that has undermined their whole season.

@DanLG98 @Richard0Head @NathanAClark I want him at right back though. It might’ve worked if Spence helped more offensively but that whole side was neutralized

@a_mceldowney Other managers would have been get criticism for not changing things. Last season Ange "had to adapt". We've had two coaches since who have frequently adapted, but not necessarily been any better. At some point you realise this goes beyond the coach.

@DanLG98 A different manager doesn’t change up things every 45 minutes, putting players in the wrong positions. One attacking change at HT today would have made sense, VdV and Spence off? Lack of consistency kills

Tudor may well be sacked after this, but I do struggle to see what changes. I don't think attitude was the issue today, tactically we were largely fine (first half anyway), but we still have limited creative options, an injured GK, and technical flaws in even our best performers

@DanLG98 @Richard0Head @NathanAClark Udogie was terrible. But im just tired of the forcing of players not in their natural position. I would’ve rather seen Muani/Richy/Tel/Simons on the right than Porro.

@WonderSpurs @Richard0Head @NathanAClark Plenty of options is a bit of a stretch. We have no natural right sided attacker, and Udogie wasn't great when he came on. You can pick holes in the line-up but there are gonna be issues whoever you pick atm.

@drewfanacc @CDEccleshare @Carra23 Why would the dislike be undeserved? Surely people just like / dislike the teams they like / dislike? And it's not like there'd be a shortage of reasons for people to not like Arsenal. As as Spurs fan I'm bias, but there are also more objectively unlikable things that bother some

@DanLG98 @CDEccleshare @Carra23 Yea obviously thats exactly what I’m saying buddy. Obviously the dislike is undeserved but as Jamie says in the article it’s all because people know they won’t be able to hold something over Arsenal fans heads anymore

It’s not bizarre at all, you say ‘rooting’ for City which I totally understand they don’t provoke the same feelings as others, but people aren’t rooting for City, they WANT them to beat Arsenal! That’s the difference. The column looks at why. Thanks for bringing more traffic👍
Charlie Eccleshare@CDEccleshare

For someone who seems generally to have his finger on the pulse of fan sentiment, this is a bizarre take from Carragher. Neutrals have been rooting for City over teams they care about for basically the last decade. telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@Say_To_Alcohol @TheAthleticFC Sorry to break it to you, but me wanting Arsenal has nothing to do with Arteta and everything to do with me wanting the opposite of what Liverpool fans want. Yes, I'm that petty.

@drewfanacc @CDEccleshare @Carra23 You've countered your own point here. City were the preferred winners over Liverpool, but Liverpool weren't disliked for challenging them, meaning challenging City isn't enough to make your team unlikable. If you feel that Arsenal are disliked, then it's for other reasons.

@CDEccleshare @Carra23 His point is all about Arsenal. Liverpool weren’t disliked for challenging city like Arsenal is. He’s genuinely right

Archie Gray just keeps getting better. Tonight was his best CM performance in a Spurs shirt. His versatility is obviously a valuable trait but with this trajectory he could make this midfield position his own
