A lot of content creators talk about how the internet has become a bad cesspool of negativity and all I can think is, "be the change you want to see." It's okay to complain about it, but do something more or boost people who can.

@SailorPikachuV I see. I also see a lot of these tuber who catch bans are the ones skirting ToS and claiming they didn't know when it's very clear what is and isn't acceptable. I get Twitch had to protect it chances at advertising, but hold everyone accountable to the same standard then.

@DanReillyan I wish it wasnt so like…. You need a big bonker sexy curvy vtuber mama to attract viewers. It isnt JUST that. But its a huge reason. I mean look at models like ShyLilly or other similar streamers. Great personalities. But also. Yanno. It’s a very attractive type model to have.

I see a lot of Vtuber discourse over ToS changes on Twitch, and I am curious as to why its happening. Like I know sex sells, but is that a primary trait to a lot of you guys' models? The sex appeal? Or is it equal enforcement of the ToS for VRchat streamers?

@SynysterPikachu I understand now. It's equal enforcement they want vs. arbitrary enforcement.

@DanReillyan As of why Twitch is only targeting vtubers I’ve heard mixed things as it has only come to light recently that there has been hidden rules discovered to certain vtubers so other then they don’t like vtubers unsure.

@SynysterPikachu From what I understand, there was a diagram for acceptable attire, and hips/cheeks weren't on it months ago. If it were my call, all of it would be allowed on Twitch. I'm just confused as to where the rules are targeting Vtubers specifically.

@DanReillyan It’s a combination of equal enforcement of ToS as well as it’s expensive as well as finding time for them to to change how their models look. Vtubers are usually treated unfairly with Twitch with double standards.

None of the changes to the Twitch ToS Guidelines are about "think of the children" EXCEPT the lines that prohibited sexualizing children or childlike character models. Almost all of the changes are to protect the site's ad revenue.

These creators coming back to Twitch most likely made far more money on Twitch, and will most likely have a higher viewcount in the English speaking sphere.

Because Youtube livestreaming dominates in every other region than English speaking ones as far as viewcount goes.
