Norway’s sovereign wealth fund converts to roughly 2.89 trillion CAD, divided by their population (which is slightly more than Alberta), that’s currently around $515,000 CAD per citizen and growing steadily. x.com/DanRezonance/s…

A separate Western Canada would have far greater resources than Norway, and can learn from Norway’s success by strategically managing its natural resources, similar to Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, to help bring a higher standard of living to its citizens.

Stop smoking the easy way: Most people who are trying to quit smoking aren’t aware of these details but there’s an approach that significantly increases your chances of quitting smoking that makes the whole process easier and less stressful on your body. I first learned of this from a doctor friend who came across some related research while studying in med school. Basically, you want to have 1 less smoke every 2-3 days. THIS GIVES YOU THE BEST CHANCE OF SUCCESS COMPARED TO ALL OTHER METHODS. The chances of success are high compared to other methods, and people who quit using other methods, if they start again, they often end up smoking even more than they did before. Stopping this way is less stressful on your body and much easier than quitting cold turkey from half a pack a day. You don’t experience nearly the same negative effects on your body, mental state, and mood when you quit this way. It makes it EASY you just need a bit of planning and discipline to follow your plan. If you have 8 smokes a day, that’s 1 smoke every 2 hours during the day. Once you get to 8 a day, here’s an example of how you could plan out two 25 packs, or 50 cigarettes: 7 + 7 + 6 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 50 That’s 12 days and that’s less than 2 weeks. The first day having one less cigarette is barely stressful on your body, the second or third day of having that new baseline amount has little to no negative stressful effect on your body. You could do something similar to this 12-day plan depending on how many smokes you have left and how easy you want to make the process. Once you get to 3 or less smokes a day, quitting cold turkey from there is fairly easy. If you get to 1 a day or even 1 every two days, think about how easy it is to quit from there. You’re not quitting a pack a day, you’re just cutting 1 cigarette from your day. Other tips that could help: - Once you’re at 8 a day, try to plan for around 2 weeks where you don’t have many plans, family get togethers, events or travelling, so that you can have an easy solitary journey through the process with minimal stressors and irritants. - Quit things beforehand like coffee and weed that make smoking more enjoyable. - Keep the smokes that you have limited for that day in a separate pack, hard shell case, or sandwich bag. - Quitting in winter can give you extra motivation because of not wanting to go outside as much. - Having one 3-4 mg nicotine pouch per day during the most difficult stretch can help make winding down a bit easier to deal with. It’s probably best to avoid this tip if you can, so that you don’t end up becoming addicted to nicotine pouches instead. If you do this, throw away the pouches after you quit smoking (max 1-2 days after you quit), don’t have more than one low strength pouch per day, and don’t buy more. - If you find it hard to focus after quitting, you can try supplementing with things like Lions Mane or Alpha Brain. - Don’t brag about the progress you’ve made, or brag about quitting, and don’t condemn others for smoking after you quit. This gives you a fake achievement dopamine hit and will make sticking to the plan less likely. Keep it to yourself, it’s you against yourself. - After you quit, don’t be hard on yourself if you bum a cigarette from a friend at a party or something, and definitely never buy a pack. Buying a pack is what will make you a smoker again, bumming a single cigarette when you’re out drinking with some friends probably won’t, unless you’re hard on yourself and buy a pack afterwards. - Try to stop while you’re younger, ideally before age 27 so your lungs are better at cleaning themselves out after you stop. Use healthy stress relievers: - Working out - Supplement Agmatine Sulfate - Playing a musical instrument - Get in a flow state with writing, reading or art - Hot shower, sauna or hot tub - Taking a nap or sleeping in Detox: - Replace coffee with green tea or maccha - Supplement NAC - Stay well hydrated to help flush out toxins, water, tea, orange juice, cranberry juice - Go for a run, exercise, or play a sport that makes you sweat - Try a detox protocol I just thought I’d share some proven things that helped me and could be useful to others, thanks for reading and good luck.

Norway has utilized: - Resources and an exporting surplus - Intelligently managed sovereign wealth fund to direct resources and generate stable investment returns (1990’s) - Fiscal policy using budget rules to control spending and avoid overheating the domestic economy (2001)

On June 7th, 1905 Norway had a peaceful separation from Sweden. They were previously united since the Treaty of Kiel in 1814. There was a brief 2-month tense period, but the union was dissolved without war through the signing of the Karlstad Treaty:

A new oil pipeline is by far the single biggest way to strengthen the Canadian economy, reduce our dependence on the US, generate hundreds of $ billions of export sales, and create thousands of good paying jobs. It’s about nation building. #TeamCanada

The same thing is happening in Canada with the west being pushed into considering separation. Canada should follow the example of the Velvet Divorce, resulting in a peaceful change that allows people to choose which future they believe in.

Disagreements between Czech and Slovak leaders regarding the future of the country led to dissolving the federation. With no civil war, the Velvet Divorce led to the creation of two nations that have maintained strong and friendly relations.

In Cree, "northwest" is kīwētin-kīwēhtinohk meaning "the north wind". Alternatively, you could use kīwēhtin-nokamik meaning "the north wind place" or "northwest". We can modernize these words like how the name “Canada” comes from the Iroquois word “kanata", meaning “village":⬇️

The portfolio optimization I used maximizes the ratio between the risk penalty and the expected return. US listed stocks and ETFs are in the RRSP to avoid a 15% withholding tax on dividends. A constraint for the portfolio is that each of the assets I selected must be at least 1% I would consider cutting some of the positions that are less than 2% to add $FBTC ETF overlap analysis coming soon.
