@ToweringZigic There is, but I think if we were settling, we’d be just fine enough with Iwata being able to cover there. Buchanan if he comes back anywhere near fit enough. The side is good enough at the moment to be mid table comfortably

@KierenFinglas Both very different styles to Iwata though. I just think a natural sitter allows Doyle to play more freely is all. Albeit maybe a bit negative at St Ans.

@Kieranbcfc2 I’m interested to see this against a quicker midfielder. Solis definitely has the long limbs and physical nature to win those duels but my worry is how quickly he could get turned around due to his frame

@DanStarmz Yeah I get that given Solis is very new. I would say tho that Solis is probably our best midfielder in terms of dealing with counters based on his athleticism and physicality.

@Kieranbcfc2 Just worry about us on the break with Solis / Doyle as a two. Would love to be proved wrong as they’re both good footballers

@DanStarmz Would play Solis over Iwata, even if he is not long in the door. Iwata is better defensively/mobility wise than Paik/Doyle but he doesn’t look close to Solis imo.

@KierenFinglas Let’s not forget how good Iwata is thre, had a few bad weeks but he’s a good holder.

@DanStarmz Iwata looked absolutely shattered against Wednesday, so many unforced errors, which is unlike him. Iwata, Paik, Doyle, Roberts and Stansfield could all do with a brief spell on the bench, to recharge their batteries
