Learn with platforms like Coursera and Udemy. 2. 30 percent of your income must go strictly into savings. Commit to this for at least 10 years and you will see a massive difference. 3. Buy a car before you even think of building a house. The connections, approvals, trust, and opportunities that come with owning a car are impossible to get from a house. Especially if you are into business, a car puts you far ahead of your peers who are still jumping buses and climbing okada. People rush to build houses because they are less informed. 4. Instead of buying one plot of land for 10 million naira and spending 90 million naira to build a house, buy 10 pieces of land and hold them for 10 to 15 years. You can easily make 500 million naira or far more, depending on the location. 5. Not everybody will make it in business, but many will win through smart investments. Invest in government securities, money market funds, stocks, and land. 6. If you are in your 20s or 30s, forget about building a house right now.
