Tough to say. Can’t help but get upset — like it or not, he is objectively part of the reason this team is off to a bad start. He helped fuel the Raffy drama (both sides were very much at fault). He built this roster. I can go on and on… I think he has made some really intriguing moves, but there are other things I look at within the org and say “why?”. Gutting the scouting department? Becoming so egregiously model-driven (and I’m a data guy). Losing key staffers for no particular reason? I think the bottom line is he needs a special advisor working with him to better ensure the state of the org for the foreseeable future.
