@ashy2305 Just feel like Beck is too similar to Maskell and Rutledge, we need a more direct quick striker to compliment them 2. Scales is a good shout, yeah most of poolies released lot would be decent options
@tom_swanton Granted his record last 2 isn't great at all, just going off his history with us and his ability to be a playmaker and assist our other forwards
@tom_swanton When he was with us he scored 16 before COVID happened, then with Gateshead in the league above another 15, then around 10 for Crawley in league 2, given he is more of a playmaker that's pretty good
@DanWoodgate96 I wouldn't be against resigning him, but I think Shields or a return to Gateshead may be more likely. He scored 14 one season (NLN) and 16 the season after (NL) for them, so they're bound to be interested.
@darlo_baron Could we get that reverend bloke who writes an article on the website once in a blue moon to perform some form of excorsism? You know.. just to make sure all of the scumminess has gone
@tom_breedon@DarloSince1883 My thinking was If barrow retires and we get a new LB who's up and down and loves to overlap Campbell off the left cutting in to cross in to maskell or Rutledge, or fancies whipping it on the far corner. Saying that though barrows that much of a machine he could do that anyway
@DarloSince1883@DanWoodgate96 Wont get anyone who is that we can rely on to stay for a full season. But Campbell's skillset could really work next to Maskell who would relish doing more of the Main battling defenders role next to a quick on the shoulder finisher. I wouldn't hate it if he's still quick.
