Steve Perry or Freddie Mercury is one of those debates where nobody really loses. Pure vocal power and stage command? Freddie probably takes it. Warmth, emotion, and that instantly recognizable soaring melodic voice? Steve Perry all day. Freddie could dominate a stadium. Perry could make a car radio sound emotional at a stoplight. If I had to pick one voice to listen to for an entire evening, probably Perry. If I had to pick one frontman to watch live in his prime, Mercury. Who are you picking?

The College Football Playoff expansion to 24 teams needs to include all FBS Conference Champions with less than 4 losses. Paul Finebaum only cares about blue blood programs. But College Football has the greatest regular season in all of sports because of every team, fan and conference at all levels of it. So expanding the FBS College Football Playoff to include all FBS conference champions with less than 4 losses makes the regular season mean even more for ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

Who watched The Gong Show? I love that YouTube keeps clips like this alive because 1970s television was absolutely fearless. At some point this guy seriously thought: "You know what? I’m going on national television with competitive mouth popping." And honestly... the wild part is he was good at it. The timing is tight, he is completely committed, and that "Mouth Percussion" shirt makes the whole thing even better. This is exactly the kind of wonderfully strange TV that made shows like The Gong Show unforgettable.
