@LBC What the government needs to do is once a year at the beginning of each term for 1 day teach 2 things.. Online safety / sextortion scams / why have 2 emails etc and basic first aid. 1 day and it dramatically changes things

Abuse online is far too common, and we will not tolerate it. Tech companies have a moral duty to act by making it impossible for children to take, share or view nude images. If they don’t, we will legislate.

@Keir_Starmer No it starts at school level… Change the curriculum to allow 1 full day at the beginning of year 7 On that day teach them online safety and basic first aid I would happily donate 1 day of my time a year to video call in and give a presentation on sextortion scams

This government will not stand by while children are put at risk online. Today I am calling on the tech companies to introduce device-level controls to prevent children from taking, sharing or viewing nude images. And if they don’t act, we will.
