Further evidence that EBV may be the cause of #MultipleSclerosis. During my neurology training, I was specifically taught that EBV does not cause MS, but here we are... Science never stands still, and we shouldn't either in #PatientCare. The next frontier is going to be demonstrating with validated biomarkers that many disorders that currently get labeled with "anxiety" or "functional" in clinical medicine, are caused by inflammatory, autoimmune and immunologic abnormalities that change neurochemistry. #NeuroTwitter #Dysautonomia #LongCovid #MECFS

Alluring patients to misused, gaudy gadgets by profit oriented healthcare industry compromises Holistic & ethical medical practice.
Health is held hostage by industry.

While scientific study of traditional medicine to incorporate the evidence based ones into modern medicine is good step, unregulated quackery, myths & misinformations in the pretext of natural healers is big business. Taking away food supplements from chemists' shelves is a must
