Look at this - yet again, the same baseless propaganda has started. Now they claim that “Hindu rule” will be established in Bengal after 820–822 years. Before that, according to them, Bengal was under nothing but uninterrupted “jihadi rule.”🤡 Seriously? Let’s talk facts.

Did this Tokai just list General Zia as an “Anti-Liberation”, figure ??? Major Zia, was ONE OF THE 11 SECTOR COMMANDERs who led the fight for independence! The absurdity of Tokai logic just gets weirder and weirder!

"Bangladesh Politics Liberation Versus Anti Liberation Forces" Bangladesh politics is often understood through a deep divide between forces that uphold the legacy of the Bangladesh Liberation War and those viewed as opposing that foundation. At the center of the pro liberation narrative stands the Awami League, led historically by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. His leadership during the War and his 7th March Speech are widely regarded as defining moments in the creation of Bangladesh. From this perspective, opposition to the Awami League is not seen as simple party politics but as resistance to the core ideals of independence. This argument connects such opposition to earlier political elements that supported Pakistan during 1971 and collaborated with forces like Razakar, Al-Badr, and Al-Shams. 1975 as a Defining Moment The Assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is viewed in this argument as a direct attack on the leadership of the liberation movement. After this atrocities, political power shifted and new narratives began to emerge. During this period, figures like Ziaur Rahman rose to prominence, and later debates over the declaration of independence became part of national politics. Rewriting of History. A central claim in this viewpoint is that anti liberation forces have long attempted to reshape history. This includes questioning the role of Bangabandhu, promoting alternative accounts of independence, and reducing the ideological importance of the liberation struggle.Supporters of this argument believe these efforts are designed to weaken the national identity built in 1971. Continuity in Present Politics Following this logic, some argue that present day opposition alliances including groups such as Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami represent a continuation of earlier anti liberation politics which became clear after 5th August 2024. In this interpretation, recent political changes are not isolated but part of a long struggle over the direction of the country. Comparisons between recent events and 1975 are part of political argument and remain debated. However, for those who hold this view, the pattern appears consistent in terms of ideology and objectives. Conclusion Bangladesh politics in this framework is a continuing contest between the legacy of the liberation movement and competing visions of national identity. The debate is shaped not only by historical facts but also by how those facts are interpreted and used in present political struggles. #Bangladesh #AwamiLeague #Jamat @albd1971 #خان_کی_مزاحمت_کے_1ہزار_دن

When Asim Roy introduced this theory, it was groundbreaking how retarded it is. Asim Roy cannot define what syncretism means other than a vague notion of “different religions share elements...so mixed?” The “syncretism” he attributes to Islam in Bengal is anything but unique in

@Sh1rkuh When Asim Ray introduced his thesis on the islamic syncretic tradition of Bengal this wasn't anything new or groundbreaking it's was just an elaboration on the social dynamics of urban musilms vis-a-vis rural during the colonial period.

March 25, 1971 is observed as Genocide Day. On the occasion of Genocide Day, 1 pay my deepest respect to all the martyrs. In the history of freedom-loving Bangladesh, 25 March 1971 remains one of the most disgraceful and brutal days. On that dark night, the Pakistani occupation forces carried out one of the most heinous genocides in history against the unarmed people of Bangladesh in the name of 'Operation Searchlight". They indiscriminately opened fire on teachers, intellectuals and innocent civilians at various places, including Dhaka University, Pilkhana and Rajarbāgh Police Lines, killing many people. The genocide of 25 March was a pre-planned massacre. Why this organised killing spree could not be resisted remains a matter of historical research regarding the visible role of the political leadership of that time. However, on the night of 25 March, the 8th East Bengal Regiment in Chattogram formally initiated armed resistance against the genocide by declaring 'We Revolt'. Through this resistance to genocide, the long nine-month armed Liberation War began. To convey the value and significance of independence to the present and future generations, it is essential to know about the genocide of 25 March as well. Let us all strive to honour the sacrifices of the martyrs by establishing in the state and society the spirit of the great Liberation War - equality, human dignity and social justice. Let us work together to build a just, developed, prosperous, self-reliant and democratic Bangladesh. I pray to the Almighty Allah to grant forgiveness and eternal peace to the departed souls of all the martyrs. On the occasion of Genocide Day on 25 March. I wish every success to all the programmes organised to observe the day.
