@DaneParkerLab Investigator L2 for the 5th time. This is my 10th fellowship attempt. Never been successful. Missed out by 0.002 out of 7.000 on 3 occasions.

Dear @nhmrc , it seems a little unfair that grant applicants are held to a strict submission deadline, but funding outcome announcements are not. The abysmal success rates mean myself and most of my colleagues spend February anxious about when closure will finally come.

@DaneParkerLab Hi Dane! I left Jersey City on Thursday to give a talk at the 3rd Shirtliff Biofilm Symposium in Philadelphia on Friday, so a whirlwind tour! Both meetings were great!
