I'm very confused about Ontario's plans, especially here in Toronto. So long, bikes, nature, science centre. Hello jets, beer, spas. Sorry about the overflowing hospitals. But, also, yes to virtual healthcare cuts. Elementary students are failing. Too bad, we will keep underfunding education. Let's prioritize a return to paper-based report cards. However, no AI plan/curriculum guidance for K-12 despite massive AI job disruption.

Supporting your team, or your favourite artist shouldn't be a major financial decision. Since Doug Ford got rid of the cap on ticket resale prices in 2019, Ontarians have been vulnerable to fraud, automated bots, and predatory resellers. We've consistently called for a complete ban on resale above face value. If the Premier had taken this issue seriously, Ontarians would have been protected from price-gouging during events like the World Series. It's good to hear that the Conservatives have finally heard our recommendations, but we need a real solution, not half-measures like the previous Liberal government’s 50% above resale cap. If Ford is serious about looking out for Ontario consumers, he'll make sure there aren't any loopholes, and that there's strong enforcement mechanisms in place to keep Ontarians’ hard-earned money in their pocket.
