@MarinerMenace @_mcameron44 I’m not suggesting benching him. Like he is def still more valuable than any guy you can replace him with, but he simply isn’t an MLB shortstop anymore. Just because he went from the 1st percentile of OAA to 6th doesn’t make that untrue.

@MarinerMenace @_mcameron44 DRS isn’t a “projection.” It’s an estimate based on actual outcomes of his plays on defense. And literally every metric agrees he has been bad defensively for at least the least 3 seasons
